Lord00ski Dec 12, 2021 @ 7:42am. R2 button not working. So i just got an aya neo and after hours of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with it I finally got gta to run without crashing. And now r2 doesnt work on it. And its not my controller bc r2 works in every game except this one idk wat to do. Plz help. I changed the target + SHOOT controls for L1 + R1, solved the problem of shoot but to accelerate anything. When I put the alternative control option the R2 button is used to hide behind things, and it usually works , to give punch also works the problem and shoot and speed . You can export the config to your personal area so you'll always have it, but once you press 'Done' it's the configuration the game will load each time. You may have to reload that from your personal area when you reboot, until the game learns a bit about you - or not. Grand Theft Auto V R2 not shooting? I Gta has it only shoot or drive as fast as the car can if the right trigger is pressed down fully while only games only need it to get pressed down slightly, which is why you don't have issues with other games. the same thing happened to me so i used a different controller so you might need a new one. i'm not sure if you could fix it but that is R2 not working? I got GTA as a gift from my friend cuz he wanted me to play with him. I was doing the Prologue after 7 hours of waiting and I couldn't shoot the security guard aiming a gun to Michael's head. I got the option to skip and I did then I got into a standoff with the cops. I was like great, now what. R2 button doesn't work in GTA 5 ps4? Title. It can't be my controller since it works fine for all other games From what I've researched, it has to do with my (in theory) worn out R2 trigger (even though it works just fine in every other game). It only shoots if I press it REALLY hard (almost breaking the controller) It seems to be a common issue, and it has to do with the way the game was programmed (it So my R2 button is working fine when driving , meanwhile when I try to shoot I have to press the R2 button really hard in order to shoot which is annoying anyone got a fix for this ?
